Something different for this post: not a person in sight. Just thought I would share last evening's walk with you along the River Annan. A beautiful evening and the first of many more I hope. I have made a resolution to take a walk with my dogs as soon as I arrive home from work. leaving it later and the mood leaves me, especially as the sun (if it is present) disappears. This is one of my favourite (perhaps most favourite) local walks, along the river Annan from Hoddam bridge.Here you may spot kingfishers and otters.The Annan is a salmon river and tickets can be bought to fish along this stretch.

Hello bev,
Lovely glowing colours in this shot, and the light on the water hits a perfect spot. The band of dark cloud at the top edge is essential to the mood of the shot I feel - together with the foreground shadow it creates a very effective wedge of light across the picture. I bet the dogs enjoy this walk too!
