Photographer's Note

Loch Long, Argyll and Bute, parallel and west to Loch Lomond. This photo is taken close to Garelochhead (south of loch Long). This part of the loch is very quiet, except a small military base...

The loch was used as a testing ground for torpedoes during World War II and contains numerous wrecks. It is now a popular area for sport diving.
