Tobermory in the early morning is a joy. Few visitors are out, most seem to prefer the delicious Scottish breakfasts and a leisurely start to the day.
Walking around the main street and harbour and watching the sun slowly climbing in the sky is a peaceful, almost solitary activity. There goes the milkman, there goes the fisherman and here I stand enjoying the new day dawn.

Good choice of the vertical frame, allowing to include this long sunk boat at the FG
Nice compo with little room for the sky, the long space for waters and the eye catching red house at the horizon line
Pleasant light and natural colors
Have a nice day

"Sic transit gloria mundi"
Yesterday he was in a boat, now only a photo theme. Very good insight, just a little sad.
The picture quality is excellent, but I'm from, I was not happy :-)
Have a nice day.

A very peaceful view! The lines of the old boat here provide a nice pattern in the picture. The mood here is well coordinated with your note.

Once a proud boat, now probably only of interest for photographers...!
A fine composition, artistic use of the boat as a main subject...
Lovely morning light!

a glorious composition this, so full of interest. The light management is phenomenal with an incandescent quality about it. Perfectly controlled and executed - a real stunner! Well done!

Hi Rosemary. What a beautiful and evocative photo. The mood in twilight is something very special. And the light of early morning is wonderful. Fine composition with the boat in the foreground. Overall, a great shot with the best technical quality.

Hi my dear Rosemary
Sorry for my late reply as so crazy-busy weekday.
Your new posting this time is anothrt tasteful.
Very unlucky for white invalance for the bellowportion of undersxposute but it does not matter so much.
Well considered framework and perfect composition are as usual, as your trademark too.
Thanks for sharing with your finest work and have a good Saturday, Best regrads.

Hi Rosemary, you handled the high contrast in the image well. I like the composition too, with the decrepit boat drawing us into the scene. cheers, Steve

Scotland is a fascinating land with mountains, sea cliffs, and these small ports, away from traffic and pollution.

Hello dear Rosemanry
Your composition here is superb, I love the vertical frame with that huge foreground, emphasising the perspective of this characteristic old boat. The poor thing looks like it's seen better days. The light looked to have been pretty difficult, but you stil manage to control it beautifully with a luminescence that's enviable.
Thanks for sharing, enjoy your Sunday

Wonderfull capture with perfect pov and very good layout.
The end of this boat is quite sad, the engine is still there but...
TFS and best regards

I like the way you composed the picture with the boat creating a lead-in & perspective into the picture. The light on the rim of the boat is particularly eye catching & the luminescence against the dark blue water is attractive. Good work!
