Photographer’s Note
I'm now back from my hols in Scotland (which were great BTW) and I have loads of shots to post here on TE. I have not yet had a chance to sort them all out, but here is one of my favorites.
The shot has been cropped, brightness/contrast adjusted as well as saturated a little. USM too.
I spotted this as I was driving to Tobermory on the Isle of Mull. Apparently there are lots of old boats in this part of Scotland (many of which are wrecked) and these caught my eye.

Très beau tableau que ces trois chalutiers à l'abandon au sec. La composition est idéale avec en plus un ciel nuageux et un relief montagneux en arrière plan. Bien vu Francis.

Hey Francis, great to have you back, and a great start. These are some very nice models you've found, everything about them tells a story andthe pale yet dramatic sky adds alot to this shot.

Interesante captura Francis.
Bella composicion y encuadre.
Colores suaves (esa era tu intencion?) y atinada profundidad.
Bien hecho!
Interesting capture Francis.
Beautiful composition and frame. Smooth colors (that was your intention?) and accurate depth.
Well fact!

welcome back to TE, great work here, good positioning of the camera and the boats do tell a story that we will never know.
Great work

Nice mood in this shot, Francis. The grey weather seems to suit the "seen better days" look of the boats. Composition is good too. Well seen and shot.

Very interesting ships and very good POV. I'm in a panorama phase I guess because I'm also thinking how this would look with a wider space at the left. Not much, probably a zoom out and a crop could do what I'm saying.
