Photographer's Note
Not quite nature as the landscape here is man made over centuriess of agricultural endeavour. This is a view from the edge of a small village called Tarland in Aberdeenshire. It is perhaps 50 minutes drive from the city of Aberdeen in Scotland. Just out of view is the hill named Morven. There's another better known Morven that rises out of flat lying land in Caithness. But this Morven was under cloud and so I concentrated on the lines that demarcate the fields.Perhaps the light is not quite good enough here to make a perfect shot. I waited for the sun to peak out from the clouds but it played shy.

Ciao Bev,
Complimenti.
Un caro saluto.

Hi Bev,
these gentle colors are really beautiful! This is actually the season at its best. You have composed a wonderful impression of the landscape from a very well working POV. My compliments, also for the nice note!
Warm regards

Hello Bev,
It seems my eyes are getting weak. I was marvelling at the long line of people, all dressed in brown, walking up the hill in the lower part of the picture... :-)
Well, it's a fine composition anyway and those stumps of trees have a fine parallel in the long line of fully grown trees at the edge of the forest in the background. In between there are lots of parallel lines of bushes and trees that caught your attention. It is certainly a man made scenery, which is the reason for the attractive patterns and colours. A nature that hasn't been influenced by humans tends to get less interesting to watch like this.
Kind regards,
Gert

Ha, ha, Bev, my eyes must be as bad as Gert's, for I thought there was a band of people, all dressed in brown, travelling up the hill!
You have seen a good pov, where the horizontal lines stripe the scene. There is a pleasing contrast between the new greens of the grass and the dark, forboding vertical of the b/g trees.
Having talked about the good points, Bev, there is something that I just can't put my finger on which makes the scene feel flat. Maybe its the lack of a focal image, but not all shots have that! I feel frustrated, like a detective who can't solve a case but I have to admit it is just something that I feel.
So sorry not to be wholly positive but, I'm sure, you would rather people were honest.
Have a good day,
Bev :-)

ciao Bev,
tanti i campi che compongono l'immagine con le varie tonalità di colore che si susseguono.
Immagine dalla resa soft con gli aberi a chiudere la scena sullo sfondo,
buona serata
