Photographer’s Note
This is one of the four 'Master Blowers' plying his art at Gibraltar Crystal workshop-in the shadow of the enormous rock of Gibraltar.
Here, the master is working the glass using a blowing iron, which is essentially a hollow rod, & is used to gather molten glass for blowing.
The final product is always individual & a testament to the master blower's craft.
As we headed towards the beautiful, shiny glass objects in the showroom, i fealt great relief that my credit card was back in the apartment safe!
My regards,
David

Hi David,
Good capture of this master tradesman - I think you have done a sterling job considering the low light environment. And I like how there is just that small sense of movement in the man's hands, as he twirls the blowing iron. Regards, Casper

Hi David,
I love the dim light here, and how all the elements work perfectly for a vertical cadrage. The molten red glass is the significant detail, and it makes the photo a winner, imho.

Nice vertical format and details showing this working environment. And I also like the darker / colder look.
cheers,
