Photographer’s Note

Aboard the small normand cutter Notre Dame des Flots, on the way to a Maritime Festival in Guernsey.
It's still summer weather at the beginning of September. Between Jersey and Guernsey, a fine rear wind pushed us to destination. To take maximum advantage of the wind, the foresails are established on the oppositite side of the mainsail, and held in place by a wooden pole.

From the outside, the boat must look like a butterfly. From the inside, I'll let you judge!
