Sunrise at Castle Pier 2, Guernsey Photo

Photographer’s Note

This pic shows the lighthouse on the Castle Pier, St Peter Port, Guernsey in the Channel Islands. I hope it shows a piece of the lovely island I live on.
It was taken about 20 minutes after sunrise. After some earlier shots I then moved to a different angle and waited until the sun had risen just behind the light itself, shining through the glass.
The only post-processing is the application of a warm-up filter in Photoshop. Compared to some earlier shots which are very bright and orange (the sun was lower), this is somewhat more yellow and maybe a bit dark. Comments would be appreciated.

Nice sunrise shot Mike. Great framing and positioning of the sun just behind the light. I like the way the sunlight has highlighted the railings along the pier creating a nice leading line up to the lighthouse.
