Approching Alderney isldand, the most little channel islands. The ship is Grand Léjon, french lugger - see also notes in other pictures and more information on website www.le-grand-lejon.com
We are in the Raz Blanchard, a dangerous place with rocks, in front of Cap de la Hague.
The sea is quite calme because it is between two tides, a time called "etal" The sun is cover by a cloudy sky whitch give a strange atmosphère.

Une ambiance que j'aime particulièrement, avec la mer calme et les voiles bien gonflées, la belle vague d'étrave qui témoigne de la bonne marche du bateau.
Peut-être que tu aurais pu nous montrer un peu plus de coque, la partie gauche de la photo étant un peu trop claire. Ca se discute.
