Photographer’s Note
Grand Cayman has some of the world's best shore diving. At this spot there was no beach but hardpan coral, and you just jump in between swells. The canyons drop gradually and there are these magnificent grottos where fish just hang. This shot was shallow...maybe 30 feet...and the sunlight coming from behind the yellow snapper really illuminated them. Not a complicated, artsy shot, just nice natural colors.
