Photographer’s Note
Shot at the popular Stingray Sandbar (aka Stingray City) in Grand Cayman, where hundreds of Southern Stingrays gather for treats in waist-deep water. Tourists arrive by the boat-full, offering pieces of squid. I spent most of my time underwater in a mask and snorkel grabbing shots like this, so I fear I missed much of the above-water talk. Wikipedia has plenty of information, though, here. These two were among the larger ones, about 4' wide.
The experience was great, one I highly recommend.

Unsharp mask, adjusted levels, adjusted contrast, adjusted colour balance. Not bad, I think, for a cheap camera.

Bonjour Kai,
It's a lovely well built composition and a very attractive image. I especially like the play of "ton-sur-ton" colours and light on the sand.
Only point would be a straight frame because it disturbs a little.
