Photographer’s Note
The Cayman Islands Museum is George Town on the Grand Cayman Island. It opened in 1990 and the majority of the collection is from Ira Thompson. It contains a little bit of everything including coins, documents and a large handmade 'catboat.'
The museum is what is the restored Old Courts Building and overlooks the bay. While talking to some of the workers at the museum I was shocked to hear that it is one of the last few 19th century buildings left on (due to tropical storms).
