Photographer’s Note

My second posting of the very wierd British Virgin Islands. At first glance this may look like an estate agents ad, but in fact I think it has sound TE credentials. The model for the standard living accommodation is very definately US middle class suburbia. This particular house is on the edge of the main town of Road Town, but numerous examples can be seen scattered all over the island, as the background indicates. The car is unusual. Most people seem to buy high end SUVs, which manage to create a rush hour traffic jam at the island's only set of traffic lights. There's about 100km of road network on the main island which is less than 10km long, and with no easy ferry connections to the nieghbouring islands.
