Photographer’s Note

This shot was taken on a boat trip out of Providenciales, one of the islands that comprise the archipelago of Turks and Caicos and its main transportation hub. Geographically, the Turks and Caicos are part of the Bahamas group, located at the extreme southeast tip of the 700 islands. Although the archipelago was politically part of the Bahamas, since 1962 is a British Crown Colony. T & C does not belong to the British Virgin Island, but since TE does not have a section dedicated to it (as it should have) I have followed the lead of previous postings, uploading my picture under the BVI.
