I think it's a smple beautiful shot,strange for me why nothing commented here,sorry,but glad to see it:)
well captured and controlled the light with a nice colors,too.
about cropping and composition,let me say friendly,...cropping the pole in top is not good here,also the boats could be set in center-off,almost in 1/3,in that situation the shot could be stronger.hope you don't mind about my comments,Matt.
anyway,I like the moody atmosphere in your shot,thanks for sharing.

Nice photo, with nice mood and beautiful beams coming from the left behind the clouds. Elihesamian is right about the top of the pole, but apart from that I think it's a good photo.

I love the light on the sea on the left... and the clouds give a mystic atmosphere to the shot.

I like the strong light coming from the left, as well as the general grey colour, the boats and, of course, the light shining on the sea surface. Nice work, Matt!

Hi Matt - I like the way the light is poking thru the clouds. This is a very beautiful area, would love to sail one day (been on land on VG last year). I agree with Mohammed, there needs to be a tad more at the top.

Hi Matt, I had a look at your first entry and I like it. The light striking the scene from the side renders this maritime scene very atmospheric. The sheer verticalism of the mast of the racing sloop againts the dark sky renders it also graphically interesting. Have a nice weekend!
