Photographer’s Note

Hi there,

I took this photo on the way to Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland. Do not ask me what is the name of this place - we've just stopped while driving, I hopped off the car and took few shot because the view was just so stunning. In fact it was Mariusz who stopped the car as he was driving.

If you ever get a chance and have a car - go up the north - it is worth seeing, even if you just want to drive around. I am not really as familiar with Northern Ireland as I would be with the wider area of Dublin istelf, but just give me a bit more time Folks :P

Hi Dariusz. It's a beautiful fairy-tale landscape, and I can imagine you've had a nice roadtrip up there :-)

The picture itself has a very fine composition and very good quality.

I've been in Mourne Mountains on my last trip to Ireland and I found it was a wonderful place ! I will post photos of this place soon, I hope ;)

Pamiêtam te murki w¶ród pastwisk irlandzkich. Hrabstwo down bardzo piêkne , ja niestety zmuszony by³em podziwiaæ je przewaznie w s³ocie. Wspania³e te góry i niebo nad nimi.

Wonderful scenery. The old stone wall and the gorse bushes make an interesting frame, providing a splendid contrast with the dark brooding sky. Very good colours and sharpness.

Widok niesamowity i świetnie zapodany z tym kamiennym płotem. Światło magiczne jakie uwielbiam. Ostrość na pierwszym planie świetnie oddaje kamienie i ich strukturę. Ja bym chyba jednak mniej ostrzyła całość by nie tracić przestrzenności.

It is a wonderful view too. It was well worth stopping the car. There are so many gaps in the stone wall, we wonder how it doesn't fall down, but together with the flowering gorse bushes it makes a fine foreground for the Mountains of Mourne, topped by a typical sky.

Ce paysage est typiquement irlandais mais l'originalité de cette composition c'est le premier plan fait avec le mur de pierres sèches et orné d'ajoncs.

Miejsce w rzeczy samej bardzo urokliwe ale przyznam ze zrobiles rowniez kawal wspanialej roboty gdyz rzeczywistosc nie byla az tak atrakcyjna.
Swietny efekt -gratulacje.
Nawiasem mowiac bylismy wlasnie w niedziele w tamtych okolicach -tym razem blizej Cooley Peninsula skad jest widok przez zatoke w kierunku Mourne Mountains. Super miejsca i nawet pogoda sie udala -jakies anomalia, bylo slonce...
