Photographer's Note
An early evening moonrise shines down on Narrow Water Castle in the evening twilight. There has been a Castle or Keep at this site since the 13th Century. It was originally built by Hugh De Lacy, the first Earl of Ulster , to prevent river borne attacks on the town of Newry 6 miles further up the river.

Hi Derek,
Beautiful composition, especially the moon in the corner which adds so much. The colours are excellent too.
Good old Hugh De Lacy, his legacy has left so many photo opportunities across Ireland.
Cheers
