Killard Point, Co. Down
This shot was taken in fairly bright conditions and I wanted to experiment with my 10 stop filter which I hadn't used before. Everything seemed to work ok. So I'll try it on a much more moodier day and see how that goes. I quite like this shot for its simplicity and the way that the rocks almost embrace the incoming soft sea. Shot at the nature reserve at Killard Point, Co. Down, which is a really nice area for walks.
Nikon D7000. EXP 30" @ f11. HiTech 10 stop ND filter. RAW file manipulated in Photoshop CS5.

excellent light control on what appears to be a bright day.
i always like the the misting effect from these long exposure shots, and the uncertainty of the depth of the water.
a good posting

Hello, good wide angle view and the filter provides a nice effect with the water.
