[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another from my series at Curlew Point, Killough. Tried a B&W conversion this time.

Curlew Point is a small bay between Dundrum and Killough in Co Down. Further back along the coast is murlough nature reserve and the seaside town of Newcastle. St Johns Point Lighthouse can also be seen from this spot. Slieve donard and the Mourne mountains can be seen in the distance.

Thanks for looking :)

Gary

Hi Gary,
Amazing shot. Excellent combination of the landscape and sky. B&W is choice wonderfully.

Hi Gary,

Nice one again and black and white making it a nicely moody shot! You're not very often posting black and whites and I can see your point when I look at your sunset postings in colour! But why did you go for black and white this time? It does do wonders, surely! But why this choice? :-)

Greetings!
Dennis

I think this is absolutely smashing
shot, Gary!
Not keen on b/w landscapes, but this
one works perfect for me and is an
exception.
Excellent choice to give the FG 2/3rds
of the frame.
Lots of details to make high contrast
work fantastic!
Bravo!
Robi
PS. Surprised this one didn't get more
critiques, honestly!

Hi Gary
Amazing shot, the B/W is perfect for this image where sky and sea seem to melt one with the other. Impressive Image, almost a dramatic mood. Very well done.
Great gallery
