I took this photograph on a recent holiday in Murcia, on the Spanish mainland. It was a hot day but still had some cloud to give interest to the sky. The lighthouse is at Cabo De Palos and is located at the southern end of the Mar Menor ("Little Sea") and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
This lighthouse began operating on January 31, 1865 and is situated in a marine reserve, the Reserva Marina de Cabo de Palos e Islas Hormigas.

This picture is filed in county Down, I was very surprised about this and I now understand you probably made a mistake ;) Very nice shot anyway. A good POV, a well balanced composition, excellent colours and good sharpness. It looks like such lighthouses are typically spanish, I could see very similar ones in Galicia, north west of Spain.
Have a nice week,
