Early Morning Light Photo

Photographer’s Note

Taken this morning after sunrise outside Killeavy old church.

Killeavy - CiII Sleibhe in Irish means the Church of the Mountain. The Church referred to was originally founded by St. Moninna in the sixth century. She had founded her first convent at Faughart but after leaving this in charge of St. Orbilia she retired to the foot of Slieve Guillon.

Very dramatic yet beautiful. Almost looks like a painting.

Beautiful shot.It looks like something out of a fairly tale. A gate to the sunrise. Excellently done.

This is the scene a poet would die for. I'm not sure what else to say. The ND grad did such a fantastic job of exposing the sky and landscape so well. the jet streams add fantastic lines in the sky as well. Just a top notch photo.

Dramatic and beautiful work!
fallen leaves in the foreground are also so effevtive. I like really this warm colour tone.
