Photographer’s Note

Camlough lake is in South Armagh Near the small village of Camlough. Camlough (from the gaelic crooked lake) is a 'glacial ribbon lake'. The lake is home to an array of bird, insect and fish life including Grey Herons, Moorhens, Mute Swans, Great Crested Grebes, Pike, Roach, Bream, Eels and Perch.

Lovely light this evening just before sunset.

Love this Gary. I am sure that this will make a great print. Hard to fully encompass on a computer screen that splits it in two.

This is a very intriguing image indeed. Somehow it almost looks like some of the rocks are suspended in mid air? I really like the colors and you have used various elements in a good image very well. DOF and POV are good so great work, Gary, and thanks for sharing. Gerald

The rocks and the bushes just jump right out of the picture! It must be really hard to balance the color, but you nailed it! Just incredible!

Hi Gary,

You like your lakes for sure. Well, I would as well with such a sunset!! 10mm. Which lense do you have? And what was the shutter speed here? Did you use an ND filter with longer exposure?
Have to say, the half-transparent frame is a bit distracting at the top. Started to look back if you always used it and you did. Yeah, think it's typically in this picture that it caught my eye. Next to that a great shot again!
