Photographer’s Note
Armagh is a city with a population of about 15,000 people. It is the county town of county Armagh in the south of Northern Ireland. The city is an important religious place since it is the seat of both the Church of Ireland Archbishop (anglican church) and the Roman Catholic Archbishop. It is the only city in the world which is home to two cathedrals of the same name, both dedicated to Saint Patrick, both of them facing on hills. The one I show you on this picture is the roman catholic one, built in second half of 19th century. Its two spires are 64 meters height. The picture was taken from my room in Armagh hostel on sunset. Oberture time is 10 seconds, I obviously used a tripod.

Hi Olivier,
I like the enlightement of the church and an excellent contrast with a blue hour sky. Perfect timing for the best hour of the day, excellent light managment. Great job also with framing and composition, impressive overall definition. You were very lucky, because the weather now is back to normal :(

Darek

Hi Olivier,
Wonderful light on the church, a warm glow which stands proud against that blue above and the dark almost silouette toning below.
I see some dustspots in the blue nearn and in between of the two towers.
Regards,
Henk

Hi Olivier, nice nightshot capture here good illumation on the Church. I think I was here many years ago when I was at the nearby planetarium but I never ventured in. Well done.

Bonsoir Olivier
La teinte donnée par l'éclairage à ces deux flèches est en accord parfait avec celle du ciel et j'apprécie ce cadrage.
Bonne soirée à toi
Amicalement

Like this shot, was trying to work out exactly where you took it from so was glad you put the information in you note.
I have a photo taken at night from the bottom of the hill on which the cathedral stands in my images, though it is a bit small as didn't know to change quality size in order to meet image size requirements when I posted it.
I hope John and Philip treated you right in the hostel & you had a good time round my home city
