Photographer’s Note
The company that I work for is situated on the banks of the river Bann, everyday I see this Heron Crane and it's mate quietly perched ready to pounce (haven't seen a kill yet, maybe one day I'll be lucky) Today at lunchtime I went to the car and got my camera, managed to get 4 shots taken through the perimeter fence before a motor boat came along and frightened this one off.

Great sharpness and colour, Trev. Good short depth-of-focus giving a 3d effect.
Not so happy with the composition - showing more of the scene on the left would be better, but maybe not possible through the fence.
A refreshing picture for the morning, anyway. Thanks,
