Lady in the pink coat
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| I liked the opposing stance of the lady in the pink coat and the other subjects in the shot. The brightly coloured coat really stands out and reinforces the stance. This like my last post was taken at this years Belfast lord mayors parade. The rain came on just at the end to force people to take shelter beneath their brollies! |

Hello Chris,
I like your photograph very much. The composition, colors and resolution are all first rate. The color highlight if the pink coat, in an otherwise grey day, is specially effective. Very good painterly eye! I lived in London in my childhood, and later returned as a member of the Department of Theoretical Physics at Oxford, but in all my years in England, I never heard the expression "brollies."
Don't worry about critiquing it, but take a look at a photograph that yours reminded me of, The Walking Umbrella.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Attractive shot,Good capture of contrast color on daily life scene and in moment of intersting posting of subject,Nice position of subject too.Good work,TFS.
It is really good.
I am always trying to make something out of the bed weather but this is an excellent idea.
Umbrellas.
I like that you can see lips of the girl and their color matches the coat.
