[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Binevenagh, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland
The Binevenagh cliffs tower over the Milligan lowlands of Northern County Londonderry. Cutting into the northern slopes of Binevenagh Mountain, the distinctive basalt enscarpment has a vertical drop of more than 100m and dominates the landscape for miles around. The rock itself was created by ancient lava flows, inviting comparison with the more famous basalt formations at the Giants Causeway, 30 km (18 miles) away to the East.

Beautiful POV Monika.
A simple and minimal composition.
I like colors and the road curve.
I think that is a typical Irish landscape given with very attractive way by the photographer !
Well seen
best regards Argyris

Beautiful lighting, Monika. A very interesting scene for me. When I was very young (about 80 years ago) we often visited my grandmother's farm in Magilligan and looked up at this mountain. Sometimes we walked up to an uncle's farm which must have been somewhere on the right of this picture, between the fence and the trees. There was no forestry there in those days.
Thanks, and best wishes,
Winifred
