Photographer’s Note
Spring day along the Antrim Coast, Northern Ireland.
After being stuck under loads of rain and hail, a sunny spell appeared near the village of Waterfoot and brought to light the green landscapes of the Emerald Isle.
The hills in the distance are the Glens of Antrim.
I am not happy enough with the composition (all is centered) but I wanted to show here the colors.
No heavy PP, just sharpening and +3pts of contrast with PS.
Thanks for your comments,
Damien.

La ligne d'horizon est peut-être un peu trop au milieu mais le paysage est superbe. Très belles couleurs et cette masse nuageuse est du plus bel effet également.

Hello, Damien.
Yes, I see what you mean when you say that you are not entirely happy with the composition - you are very honest in your note. Having said that, I don't think the picture suffers just because it doesn't comply with the "rule of thirds" - rules after all, are made to be broken and I think this "rule" should be thought of as a guide rather than a commandment.
Actually, I like this picture a lot. The colours are very good, the sky is superb and the little road leads the eye to the distant hills. Very good! Interesting note too.
Best Wishes,
John.
