Situated on the scenic North Antrim coast road just outside the village of Waterfoot is Red Arch. Built in 1817 by Francis Turnley a local landowner who used the route when travelling between estates at Cushendall and Drumnasole north of Carnlough. Before the Red Arch and road were constructed a narrow steep road had to be navigated between the two estates. The arch and the surrounding area of Red Bay gets its name from the red sandstone cliffs that rise at the north side of the bay.The North Antrim Coast Road is now part of the Causeway Coastal route and is rated as one of the Top Five Road Trips Worldwide.

Looks as an artificial support for the hill "falling" over the road, Arthur.
Good DOF achieved looking through the arc and up the road along the iron-railing. Also, nice colors where green stand in good contrast to blue (sky).
Have a nice new week,

Lep pogled na put, koji nas vodi tamo daleko u nepoznato ...
Dobra kompozicija i perspektiva, lepo pokazano mesto i trenutak sa oblacima.
Dobar trenutak snimka, kontrast, lepe boje.
Imajte lep dan, sve najbolje u novoj nedelji koja je pocela, srecno.
Nice view of the road that leads us far away into the unknown ...
Good composition and perspective, nice place and time shown to the clouds.
A good time recording, contrast, beautiful colors.
Have a great day, all the best in the new week that started, good luck.

I'll have to keep this in mind when researching road trips!
Culture! Culture is seen here so easily. what do i mean? see that double yellow line...here in Canada that means 'do not pass' and its located in the middle where the white line is on this road...cultural differences!
love the note, love the primary colors and the lighting.

Ciao e buona settimana

A great view, this leads into the scene so perfectly that I feel this could be a scene from one of my favorite playstation racing games! And an interesting point in the arch too, unusual with its high peak. Love the colors here, the sky has lots of interesting tones, and compliments the black road and greenery very nicely, while the yellow lines are just a big bonus!
All the best

this is a very well structured and most appealing picture that takes the viewer into the frame and makes the study of elements and textures very pleasing. The perspectives are well adjusted to the composition and framing and the road looks so inviting to travel by any means of transport or on foot. The arch is a captivating focal point as all the lines lead to it. I also like the particular intensity of the lighting and the rewarding colours. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great evening,

Sensational great perspective of this composition, the rail and road, lead the eye towards the bow on top of the hill, fabulous these different shades of green on the hillside to the left, a magnificent sky that adds beauty to the composition .
Good brightness and sharpness, very natural with a colorful and enjoyable.
Very well done. I like
Have a nice day.

Excellent POV, great composition with several lines leading the eye to the arch. Exquisite color and light management. My knee-jerk reaction to this POV was, "too dangerous for me for a photo chance." However, on second thought, by being on the right side of the road, you were facing oncoming traffic, weren't you?

The arch makes a fine focal point, lead to, so very succinctly, by the converging lines of the road and pathway. There are strong contrasts, here, between the natural on the left and the man-made on the right. I rally like the little detail of the shadows, creating a trainline effect!
My husband says that if I can't see shadows or reflections, I'm not happy!
Have a lovely day,
