This is Carnlough Harbour in County Antrim,Northern Ireland. The light green building is the Harbour Lights Cafe
The fine harbour in Carnlough was built by the Marchioness of Londonderry around 1850. Limestone continued to be exported from there until 1945 when the Glencloy quarries closed down. The Eglinton Lime Company of Glenarm used the harbour for several years until the late fifties when silting became a problem. The harbour is still used by yachts and pleasure boats.
It was a very cloudy ,misty day.
Have a great day

fantastic colors of this harbour with the landscape mirrored on the water. Good POV and contrast of the scene. The photo seems slightly tilted to the left and it lacks some sharpness but the scenery makes that I don't mind it.

Hello Mark ,
No much light , in this picture . But colors are really beautiful . The reflection in the calm water is great . And it seems to be a very pleasant litlle harbour .
The framing is excellent , too .

Hi Mark (alias Baz McCool - ha!) these photos of Ireland are making me want to jumop back on the plane and go back. The colours and reflections are excellent and the image is very sharp. Do you know what aperture you used? And I never knew this Harbour existed, somewhere to add to the list. TFS, Lisa.

You managed to get a very nice and good clarity image in this low light. The reflection is really quiet nice deeper and richer in color and tone. The foggy and misty air adds to the atmosphere. Seems typical of the area. Good POV, good composition. I would have suggest to leave a little more room on the top, like a 1/4 of an inch more, it seems a little tight, that is me being picky though. Thanks. Have a good day.
