The Albert memorial clock is a clock tower situated at Queen's Square. It was completed in 1869 and is one of the best known landmarks of Belfast.
The clock was damaged in a Provisional Irish Republican Army bomb explosion outside nearby River house on 6th January 1992. In 1947, the film Odd Man Out was filmed partly in Belfast, with the Albert Clock as a central location. Source : wiki

nice the view of the Albert memorial clock as dominating the place and outline perfect against the blue sky.I like its placement in the frame as the clarity of the scene.

This surely is one of the best shots of the Albert Clock I have yet to see. The green bushes in the foreground is very clever and soften the city scene around the base of the clock. You have also captured the old architecture and the new architecture of this regenerated area. The lighting, colour and your POV looking towards the top of the clock set against a clear blue sky with the branches of the tree in the top LH corner is superb.Tfs

Is this the "Big Ben" of Ireland? I like the use of the tree and other building to frame this beautiful architecture. Good lighting and sharp details. Well done, tfs.

The Albert Clock appears to be much older than 1869 from the Renaissance architecture period, and the Queen's Square below is also attractive.
Nicely composed and created,
PS: In my Old Sacramento I Street Bridge photo, the bridge is actually still carrying trains on the lower level and autos on the upper deck. There are plans to replace it, but it will be missed by us history buffs.

This photo has exceptionally good sharpness and light and very attractive colours. The red item in the foreground dosn't really belong here but still has a strange impact on the colour scheme, balancing the surrounding dark green very well.

I like the architecture of the tower. The project architect WJ Barre is very interesting.
Good vertical frame, colors and contrast too great.

Superb tower that wants to have a minimum of resemblance to the Parliament in London.
Magnificent POV showing the whole.
Magnificent lighting and sharpness very good to recreate the image.
Well done. I love it.
Have a good night.

Good capture of the Memorial tower in contrast with the sky
Smart use of the branches as a kind of frame
Vegetation on the FG gives a distance from the buildings and create contrast
Well done, congrats

Nice documentary shot. For my taste, there is too much in the frame. I would probably crop from the upper left corner, going about 2/3 of the way in both directions.

The Albert memorial clock looks great.Very nice perspective and good framing, nice colors and depth of field and an excellent overall quality.TFS.

View of the high clock-tower is fantastic, good clear details and light management.
just one thing puzzles me: why taken from this POV - would be much easier to go around and take the photo from the pavement where the young man was walking. Or, you might had cropped the lower part to prevent the unnecessary wall/bricks neglected area. Only my opinion.

Anytime I drive through belfast, this beautiful tower always stands out so prominently against the skyline of the city, a really wonderful piece of architecture. Your POV is superb, with one face in warm light and one in shadow, a really terrific way to present this.
All the best

a very elaborate and impressive clock tower, splendid in the sunshine and exalted by the perspective and clarity of your picture. It's nicely framed by the foliage and the bright colours are attractive and pleasant. It's very interesting to see how you've extended the foreground to include the colours and textures of the park as well as the brilliant red touch. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely weekend,

nice presentation of this interesting Belfast tower. I have tried to photograph it in an interesting way several times but never succeeded. You picked a nice POV although I don't like the fragment of the building in the right but it is personal preference.
Thanks for sharing,
