An interesting scene, and one that to be honest I would never place in Belfast! If you were to say this were the middle east, I would not be at all surprised. I think it could be the designs in the railing behind the men, I'm not sure! Judging by the bands on the lobster, he is still alive and ready to nip the careless.
All the best

In the age of supermarkets, these kinds of bazaars have become relics of the past, tourist attractions (at least in the US). It is nice of you to take us into this aromatic place, I can almost smell the air in here. The colors of the fish and the price tags balance the otherwise black/white/grey/blue dominance.
I will upload a cropped version of this in the w/s, I'm interested to see what you think.

Man, I love a fish market! This one looks fabulous! The color of the price cards is rather jarring, but there was nothing to be done about that, I guess, short of massive post-processing.
I like Murat's crop -- the idea, as always, is to ask "What is this shot about?" and then try to show that subject and avoid wasted space or unwelcome distractions -- but I would miss the clams. I love clams!
I may try a WS with a quick-and-dirty color replacement for the price cards!

Fishmarkets are very interesting places that I always want to have a look at whenever I come across one. Sometimes they make me realize that I shouldn't eat any fish in that town. This however looks so clean and tidy that I would gladly eat anything. The light is very good (although I approve of the cropping made by Murat that took away the window) and the colours are fine. But where are the customers?

A daily life scene well composed in diagonal so to show all the market with the iron fences and gates
Like this kind of capture where is possible to have a glimpse at real live

I got hungry to see this.:P
A good wide capture, vivid colors.
Those middle age men, one perhaps looking for expected customer and one looking into the data of business perhaps (just guess). Interesting.

Hi Miguel ,
Excellent capture from the fish market in Belfast known locally as St George's market. the array of fish for sale and the colours are amazing. You have done a good job here Miguel on the lighting and clarity in this picture.

such an attractive stall at the fish market, very neat and full of wonderful sea food. A very clear picture with colours that are natural and delightful. I like Murat's suggestion that has elliminated the glowing light but he had to sacrifice the mussels. A lot of details and atmosphere to take in, the perspective, the depth and the clarity allow us to find out so much. I'm familiar with the expression of the fish vendors waiting... Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

From the thumbnail I thought this was in some other country. A nice daily scene, with so many details to look at. Reminds me also of some markets we have here. A good composition, I like it!
