These fishy lamps pop up all the way along the Southbank of the Thames and make a pretty interesting foreground if you ask me. They are very shiny so it can be difficult to get the contrast right. I hope I got a good balance here.

Hello Phillip,
I like the composition here and the use of the lamp and the differential depth of field. Personally I would have corrected the perspective to avoid the tilt on the Houses of Parliament, but that's just me. Innovative work.
It's not easy to find something different in London, but I think you managed that with this one. Surprisingly most of us pay no attention to the street furniture, but it makes a good subject to show the icons in the background. Well done
