At sea in 1993: leisure (II) Photo

Photographer’s Note

Again on board Statsraad Lehmkuhl in 1993, somewhere between Newcastle and Bergen during the first of the Cutty Sark Tall Ships' Race of that year.

This time there is more leisure than work because even the rope work and knots making on the left of the image is leisure rather than real work.

However, it gives you afair idea of the possible activities on board when not on watch...

A quiet moment for a schooling, almost no wind.
I smell the aroma of the sea when I look at to these photograph , this care for a excellent composition, lovely colours and very good light management.

This is an interesting documentary, showing the "crew" being busy with different activities!
As always an impressive quality in your scanned images from years back, seems like they take the years very well...
