Photographer’s Note
This is taken at a Worcester train station.
An example of the ever-present obvious signing that appears more and more often in this country.
If you can't "mind the gap" then you have no right to be there. As you can see, the "gap" is about 10-15 feet, so you may think there is no need for a sign.
Unfortunately in a culture of blame somebody else always needs to be held responsible for people's moronic behaviour.
It is often the Government, or the local Council, who get the blame and get sued. So they out signs everywhere, warning us of things so obvious that you'd think noone could possibly that that mistake. But people do because stupid people exist.
And so, in case you hadn't noticed, you had better MIND THE GAP!
(And I'm not talking about the gap between your ears where your brain should be!)

Nice shot and nice note Richard.
I agree about the nanny state culture, though in fairness I think the 'gap' they refer to here is the narrow one when a train is on the platform that your foot could go down as you step up to the train.
Your framing is nice, but I felt this shot might be more punchy in black and white. I've done a workshop - see what you think.
Cheers!
Craig
