[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This small alleyway in Bradford-on-Avon, leads from the curiously named "Bullpit", alongside the river, and into Church Street in the main part of the town.

The domed roof on the skyline at the right belongs to the old town hall - now a Catholic church.

The gables to the left of this dome reflect the Dutch influence - when the cloth trade was thriving in this area, many Flemish weavers came to the town.

The modern building with its garage, on the right hand side, rather clashes with the old buildings.

I've been seeing your work and you impress me with our pov's and compositions. This one is lovely as well. Straight and well seen

Hi Peter,
Here you have found a very fine position to take this picture, the various elements of the buildings are well placed and assembled. You even found something red to include. And no cars to ruin the motive!
Greetings from Gothenburg
Gunnar

Hello, Peter.

Just as you say, it's a real pity about that modern building on the right - it really doesn't fit in with the rest of the buildings around about. But not a lot you could have done about that.

You have captured a fine picture here and the polariser appears to have helped the sky though I just wonder if those white clouds are just a tad over-exposed. Fantastic detail and sharpness and, as Gunnar says, a nice splash of red makes a good focal point for the photograph.

Best Wishes,

John.
