[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another image from the National Trust owned Courts Garden in Wiltshire.

In the summer this spout has the leaves of vines around it. I have photographed it then, but somehow I prefer this image of it in the spring, with the bare stems of the vines against the old red brick wall.

Shot in RAW, converted in RAW Therapee software, PP in PS 7 and FastStone.

Hi Peter,
An interesting and quite different picture. The colours are very stong and seem to be well processed. Is that blue basin (?) painted or is the colour a result of your software? Whatever, good and attractive colours!
Greetings from Gothenburg

Hello Peter,
very nice close up, rich of textures and colours,
I really like it.
Thanks for sharing

Hello, Peter.

Despite the fact that the vine stems are bare, this has a lovely warm summery feel to it. Great detail and sharpness too.

Did you increase the colour saturation significantly? I just wondered if that trough was really as blue as that - is it ceramic or cast metal?

Great colours in the brickwork as well.

Best Wishes,

John.
