The Courts Garden
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Taken from a position about 30 yards to the left of yesterday's posting, to show the house at a slightly different angle.
The extensive gardens and arboretum are very interesting at all seasons of the year. The house itself is not open to visitors, although a pleasant tearoom has recently been opened.
PP in PS7 and FastStone.
I used Luko's sharpening method again here. [see yesterday's posting for a link to this] |

Hello, Peter.
Another fine picture.
Well, this looks pretty sharp to me - not oversharpened either. It looks to me that whatever method of sharpening you use, it seems to work all right - I'm not all that sure if there's any great difference in the outcome of all the different methods: what do you think? Perhaps we are all getting a little too worked-up about the technicalities: I don't know.
Still, in this case, the less technical things like colour and composition are excellent - that's the artist rather than the technician!
Kind Regards,
John.
Hi Peter,
Even better than your previous picture! Those flowers in the foreground add a lot of interest to the photo! IŽll try this sharpening method, even if I believe that the Picasa2 utility is very good (and simple).
Greetings from Gothenburg

Hello Peter,
This is a delight.I like the pretty forefround flowers (whose name will come to me soon) and the lush lawn. I especially like the trimmed conifers that seem to bow and bend in comic fashion.A nice house and blue sky tree. You have certainly packed everything in. A perfect quality birthday card for a middle aged lady like me. (No, it's not my birthday until April. So if you have another like this, save it 'til then.
bet regards
Bev
