Photographer’s Note
After seeing this marvellous photograph that Gunnar [saxo042] posted recently, I thought I would look for something in the same mould.
Here it is.
Taken as JPEG: PP in FastStone and PhotoShop 7.
Rotated 180°: flipped horizontally: cropped to remove [nearly] all but the reflection in the water.
You can see a picture, taken the right way up of this balustrade with its classical columns, here.

Hello, Peter.
Oh, what a pity Gunnar is away on holiday at the moment and won't see this wonderful picture just now.
I'm jealous that Gunnar and yourself manage to find a sufficiently still, clear and unpolluted strech of water to accomplish a photograph such as this.
You have achieved an excellent result here: the colours are just superb and the exposure spot-on. A wonderful effect and one which I, for one, won't tire of soon.
Excellent!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hello Peter,
lovely colours here. I like the slight shimmering of the water that gives this the impression of an impressionist painting.Nice work.

Hi Peter,
Many thanks for the kind dedication! Yes, this is really i picture in my taste. These water colours are really very fine. You can probably obtain this look with some Photoshop technique, but reality is really much better!
Kind regards
Gunnar
