Photographer’s Note
The title "Contrast in Time" may be a bit cryptic but if you look carefully, you'll see what I mean.
Stonehenge is a beautiful place. You really get that "I'm there" experience when standing in front of (from all angles) this great monument to the past. It was the first must see site on our driving holiday across Europe after landing in London. It did not disappoint. My aim was to arrive at a time such that I could get some great sunset shots. Timing worked perfectly after travelling across the planet (from Australia) we arrived there at 4:00pm. I was madly clicking away while the establishment was trying to marshall everyone out of the enclosure. All in all I was happy with what I got.
