What lovely atmosphere! You've captured the perfect moment: early morning light, mist and height of action. Perfectly composed, too: the "S" curve of the stream, the placement of the swan approximately at the intersection of thirds. Bravo!

Hi, vic. A very nice morning atmosphere in this shot. I like your composition with the stream meandering through the image. The colours are softened by the mist and this makes the picture very relaxing. The swan adds life and contrast to the shot.

This is softer and the composition is better, I just wish the swan from the other image was in this one. A superb shot given the whole a great atmosphere

Hi Vic - this time the swan is in a much better position and the lighting is superb but the whole image looks too brightened on my monitor, I think you can afford to lose some details in the shadows to achieve the kind of contrast that was present in your previous photo from this place.

Beautiful subtle colours make this an appealing picture.
The sunrise and the light on the water is perfectly timed.The trees are almost in silhouette and yet we can still see the hint of the colours of the leaves.
IMO I think that you got the exposure just right.

Vic, c'est bien l'atmosphère du petit matin avec encore la brume et le soleil qui perce les nuages pour éclairer une scène des plus bucoliques. Le cygne est bien placé pour jouer les vedettes juste sous le soleil.

Lovely dawn capture Vic. The pink tones that permeate it are wonderful and the swan bathing in the water is superbly placed. I think there is some slight oversharpening in parts - eg on those reeds towards bottom left.
No smiley in respect of your wishes.
