Photographer’s Note
It’s very rare that a Cathedral will allow photos inside, and rarer still if they tolerate a tripod. But Salisbury Cathedral was very welcoming, and I took this colourful shot of the Anglican altar.
I set up my tripod and waited patiently for no one else to be in shot. I never ask people to move, and frown at those ask me to step off the street, away from the statue etc. Any way, I edited it a little in Photoshop trying to make the Crucifix stand out more from the stain glass.
Salisbury is close to Stonehenge, and I would recommend combining a trip to visit them both.

What a wonderful Altar Paul. Love the colors and details. The paint on it is very prety.
The stained glass windows are very nice too. this church looks full of richness. Love it.
Thanks for share.
