Photographer’s Note
This is the beautiful and very impressive Salisbury Cathedral. An extremely dominent feature on the skyline of the small city of Salisbury, this cathedral has the tallest spire of any cathedral in the UK.
Construction began on the Cathedral in 1220,taking just 38 years, which has made for a very beautiful and unified piece of architecture which is fairly uncommon of buildings of this age.
The grounds around the Cathedral are also Beautiful and this shot has been captured from across the front lawns.
I have changed the levels in this shot to bring through a dramatic sky and enhanced colours in the stonework. Just something different to complement my other photos of theis wonderful Cathedral.

Hi Dylan,
very moody photo. The dark tones bring an attractive dramatism out to the scene. I also like the play between the warm architecture and the cool sky. Very good shot and pp work!

Hello Dylan,
Is this a scanned image or digital. the saturation and noise make it looks somewhat like an old photo. Though beautiful in a vintage way. If this is a digital photo, it's a bit noise and Strong saturation. Good composition and POV and useful note. Thanks

Hi Dylan
Good warm cold colour contrasts, between the yellow amber facade of the cathedral, & the blue sky. Excellent saturation, sharpness & upward pov. Tfs!
