On a recent walk.....Bridestone Rocks from Lydgate Walk. I passed over a stile on to Windy Harbour lane and came face to face with this stone Grumpy Man. It is about 7 feet tall and looks like a grumpy old man.

Hello Deborah, what a beautifully carved stone structure you have captured here. It looks like there might be a couple of other carvings next to it on the right, which are just as pleasing. Your POV is perfect, but the image needs a little work, not a lot, but just a little. All and all I really like this photo. Have a great weekend Deborah and TFS.

This portrait of a beautiful frame to display a stone. Excellent composition and exposure. Well done.

I am fascinated by the monoliths of 'Easter Island, and this picture reminds me of your very own ones, I do not know why it is also in GB but it is fantastic and I thank you for sharing it. you have captured so well but we can see that the weather was not the best.
The best greetings, have a nice weekend ... Marino

The statue is most overwhelming in sight, Debbie. The difficult light condition prevailed and was beyond your powers to change this - so maybe you walk again on a brighter day and take a re-post photo.
Grey sky was not in favor, and yet you managed to show it's beauty.

Grumpy indeed :)... Very imposing dominant figure from this close-up so makes the picture really high-impact.

Impressionante sculpture sur pierre que tu as su mettre en valeur.Dommage que le ciel soit un peu sur exposé mais on ne verrait peut être pas aussi bien les détails.

Wow, what a strange thing to come across. My first thought is the tree ents from Lord of The Rings, and I can picture this statue talking in that drawn out nasally voice! Really interesting subject, and great colour saturation too.
All the best
