Yorkshire Horses, taken above Oldfield in the Holme Valley, across the vally you can see more farmland, the monument seen the background is castle hill, the highest point in Huddersfield, this tower was built to comemorate the crowning of queen victoria and was accuratly named 'Victoria tower' and is know to have been the site of a bronze age fort. The rolling valleys of the local area are extensively used to graze cattle, in particuar horses and cows. This was turned into black and white because i thought it gave a more accurate feel of the local area to the shot..
