Photographer's Note
Frosty mornings have been frequent this Winter - and this was a good example. Unfortunately there was no sun to add extra light to the scene, but the pure white frost still has its own luminous quality.

Who needs sun when the frost reflects so much light! This is entrancing with its soft subtle greens, greys and browns wherever you look. And those yellow flowers in the right spot beside the dark hollow leading up to the brilliant architectural umbellifer, while the smooth-barked tree seems to be 'blessing' it all.
Thank you, Maggie - it's the first real frost I've seen this winter!

Hi Maggie,
I like this image even without sunlight very much due to the wonderful atmosphere of the frost and the nice depth! It is a beautiful study of the sleeping nature. TFS!

Hi Maggie.
Lovely picture. We have had lots of frost here in Denmark too but unfortunately no snow really...
Your composition works very wellwith the huge tree to the left to back up the frozen flowers.
Kind regards, Jan

Hi Maggie
I like those frost images that make it look like crystals and artificial decoration. I also like that green in the middle, a touch of color in all that white

Hello Maggie,
I can see that, like me, you have a fascination with the the effects of frost.
It never ceases to amaze me how it can change the most most mundane into the most attractive!
I like the contrast between the upright attitude of the cow parsley and the sweeping lower branches of the tree. It makes for a very artistic composition.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Maggie,
I like this very well-balanced composition between the vertical and horizontal lines.
Winter tints are charming and I like the poetry brought by this small yellow touch at the bottom of the tree.
Congratulations!

It's strange for me to see in this image one of our common mediterranean plants frozen by the winter, but this is really interesting and beautiful under my PoV, thanks and compliment for the image that you have captured Maggie, very good.
Ciao
Vinicio
