Photographer's Note

One of the many wooden pathways that criss cross the dunes at East Head in West Wittering, West Sussex, England. Late afternoon sunshine bathing the Marram grass that anchors and holds the sand dunes in place. It is a tough little plant, but being constantly trampled by human feet can easily kill it, therefore walkers are encouraged to keep to the pathways that have be placed in the dunes.

Apologies for the watermarks; some of my images posted on TE have been hi-jacked and are now being used commercially on other websites, without my permission. I am realistic enough to know it is impossible to stop people sharing images on other sites and I have no real issue with that………but to make money from them is another matter.
