A wet and warm winter has encouraged growth and Spring has arrived early in Guessgate Wood near Steyning in West Sussex, England, with the bluebells in full bloom and carpeting the woodland floor.

une association de couleurs très esthétique. Les bleus et les verts sont superbes, ils sont mis en valeur par une belle lumière tamisée par les arbres.

You have certainly kept your gallery full of stylish, inspirational photographs. I, for one, have enjoyed them enormously. May you continue to do so!
The colour, the light and the setting create the scene beautifully for what many will see as traditional England.
Have a lovely day,

Une 1100ième très fleurie, de quoi faire de nombreux bouquets de fleurs pour commémorer ce nombre impressionnant de photos toutes aussi belles les unes que les autres.

Congratulations on your 1,00th posting! And this is a delightful one too, perfectly capturing the beauty of this vivid carpet of woodland bluebells.
And these are good ol' native British bluebells too - none of those foreign ones - these easily identified by their "hanging" flowers and their more vibrant and deeper blue colours. I have always found these flowers quite difficult to photograph (quite easy in close-ups of single blooms but much more difficult in a wide view such as this) but you have done this magnificently well and the variegated light and shade has helped considerably. And the background of dappled trees against a blue sky is delightful.
Gorgeous light and colours, perfect composition and exquisite details and sharpness throughout.

Congratulations on your 1100th birthday! Perhaps I should say Hi Methuselah, haha. And what a post, more bluebell envy springs to the fore, but of course always in a positive way. Your low point of view here is beautiful and really gives the flowers a fine sense of scale. The light falling on the trees is magical, like a magic forest.
Its been a pleasure seeing your shots, even though for me its only been for the past 100 or so.
Thanks for sharing your work and your vision of the world.
All the best

Hey there Easy Meat,
How have you been Big Dog? With many pictures to catch up on, I had to make this the one tonight...congrats on hitting the 1,100th! Quite a milestone, and a real beauty to mark the lineage. A lovely field of bluebells...ooh, one mistaken letter there and that takes on an entirely different context! ;)
It really is quite a vivid display of nature, and sure makes for some eye-popping contrast against the woods. My favorites aspect here though is the light, dancing between different areas of the frame, adding that special touch to the atmosphere collected in this scene. Hope you've kept yourself out of trouble lately, but not so much you still couldn't have a little fun. Have a good one mate. Take it easy.
Cheers from across the big blue,
You know, I never really had an issue with Chucky...but I tell ya', Freddy Krueger messed with my mind! How funny is it to watch those movies now, gotta' love the 80's! :)
