Glorious, glorious, glorious and perfect in every way Brian.

The dappled light is beautiful.
It conveys the real mood of travelling through a bluebell wood.
A beautifully composed and executed shot.
have a great Easter w/e,

Ciao, buon fine settimana e buona Pasqua.

Magical Brian. Did you give the trees a slight soft focus? They look so dreamy and perfect in this scene. A shot that ticks the boxes for me.
Hope you have a sunny and fine Easter weekend

I recognise this lovely woodland, again the dappled light adds a lot to the atmosphere,I can almost smell the blue bells.
A super Spring photograph.

I can see that the springtime has been in full bloom in UK. This beautiful picture has very positive effect on me - cannot stop to smile. So jealous that you were there in person, the smell was probably overwhelming.
The only thing missing is some forest fairy or elf hiding among the trees.
Enchanting and with wonderful atmosphere about. Superb quality picture!
Have a lovely Easter!

A fabulous shot. The light is stunning and the square format is very effective. I didn't manage to get any such shots of these gorgeous, delicate and very short lived blooms.
Congrats on a fine capture

Wow, this is truly beautiful and so remarkable. I love the light and of course those incandescent blue tones. Everything is perfectly regulated, sharp and so atmospheric. Thanks for sharing, have a very Happy Easter.

Great idea to present this image in square format. I like the contrast between vertical lines of tree trunks and horizontal layers of light and shade.
Amazing depth of field, I had to look at the camera settings - f32, impressive!

Such a beautiful and pleasant-looking place!
Those flowers look wonderful!
Very attractive picture too!
Sharpness, management of light, colors, chosen pov and composition are all excellent!

I wish I could be in one of these woods one day. This is a sujet that has fascinated me for a long time, but one can't find these bluebell covered woods in our parts.
Wonderful atmospheric shot with a nice play of sun and shadows. The flowers are stunning and the trees have an enchanted feel to them. I know that one can't ask for everything, but a little morning mist wafting trough the trees and this would have been a true work of art.
have a great day and happy easter

I hate to do this, but with very limited free time at the moment, please pardon my ‘copy & paste’ note. I really wanted to respond to as many as possible before this next week really gets away from me. With no time for details unfortunately, I can still say this image is one that I find quite enjoyable. :) All the best to you and yours for a Happy Easter. Take care.
Be good you joker...thanks for the laughs mate!

Cette photo me plait encore plus que la précédente avec, en particulier, de beaux effets créés par la lumière sur le parterre de fleurs et entre les arbres.
Energysavingelk (1357) 2014-04-20 2:58
At first glance, I could not believe that this is not a parc or other type of articifial garden. Châpeau to the British forest: you are much better equipped than I ever assumed, as I did never see anything like this blue carpet in a German forest, and you know we've got lots of them...
A happy Easter to all of you in U.K.
willperrett (7676) 2014-04-20 6:54
As you've discovered for yourself, the rain over January and February has really enhanced the vigour of the bluebell "crop" this year. This is a beautiful scene, and what I like in particular is the split-frame effect of the blue/purples below, and the green/yellows of the trees above. Stunning! I was going to our local bluebell woods today: didn't bother in the end, as it's been peeing down all day.

Good evening Brian,
Fabulous purple tone of the flowers, and a fine view through the woods.
A fine clear forest scenery, light through the trees gave a unique texture upon.
siudzi (34119) 2014-04-20 10:21
Amazing nature study this! This place looks totally magical due to the fantastic palette of colors and charming play of lights and shadows. Perfectly seen and captured. Bravo!
divail (8334) 2014-04-20 17:52
La lumière de cette photo, qui passe à travers les épines des grands arbres, est vraiment magnifique. Le tapis de petites fleurs mauves est bien mis en valeur. J'imagine qu'on n'ose pas marcher dans un si beau sous-bois.
romanaa (7966) 2014-04-21 12:36
I would just love to see it once. The blue wonder of the nature in your shot helps my unsettled mind to calm down.
Beautiful light on the tree trunks and flawless quality as usual.
Thanks for sharing

Another marvelous view of the forest with blue bells. What a joy must be to walk in this enchanted forest. Beautiful light, fantastic composition.

its easy to see why this photo has gained alot of attention for you, its well deserving of it.
it somehow reminds me of a fairytale, i'm waiting for some characters to come jumping out from behing a tree or something haha
it just has that child-like fun atmosphere to it. Or at least thats how i see it anyways.
I normally like to capture trees in full view, but its easy to see the advantage of how you captured this one, works very well indeed.
Gigidusud (17327) 2014-04-26 14:42
Splendid shot on the forest. I like the graphic of the trees and the purple flowers on FG. Splendid light and nice atmosphere. I love it!

Trees as opposed to whistles...
A scene typical of the countryside at this time of year. I have wood just over the road form my house which looks exactly like this. If the bluebells were all arranged geometrically in shapes akin to those found on a building I might be tempted to take a shot!
Nicely composed and good capture of the light here too.
adores (39250) 2014-05-27 14:19
Beautiful Spring shot! I like the composition and the colours. The bluebells form a wonderful blue carpet and the light is so great. It's a very good work! Most part of our country flowers are already gone, the fields are getting dry too fast this year.
