A blue sky and winter sun on stripy beach hut 58 languishing on Rustington Beach in West Sussex, England. Here the huts are exposed to the elements and owners have to make sure that they are secure against the wind and rain that can batter this southern coast. Good strong padlocks and hinges are the order of the day on most of the huts here.

A very simple picture but with a little bit nostalgia with these padlocks, do me think at my youth, during the vacation in Knokke, with the beach houses.
Excellent composition, lovely presentation my friend.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice weekend,

it`s good to see that these beach huts have weathered the storms rather better than some down here!
A lovely study in blue and white of number 58,the amount of hinges and locks should do the job...
Have a good week end,

I think I mentioned before, we don't get these little beach huts on our beaches, and more is the shame as they seem to be a neverending supply of photo subjects! I cant explain why, but the me, the blue and white stripes of this look to me like the sky, and perfectly natural giving the impression that these hinges and locks are just floating in mid air by themselves! Its a cool effect, and a choice composition to show this scene.
Thanks as always

Great graphical photo, all is blue, even the white parts have blue tones, very nice composition with vertical lines and horizontal hinges, very well spotted

A tightly cropped image. I like the colours of the sky and the building which is quite similar. Nice capture.

I thought I had already left my mark on this one, but apparently my mind has fooled me yet again. And along those lines, I can't help but see this is as a straight-jacket for the hut...those padlocks and hinges look to have this thing tied up but good. Is it possible that Hannibal Lecter is detained inside? :)
You have quite the knack for shooting these huts, getting the most out your subject with style and originality. The subtle shadow under the rooftop and the abundance of blue color is terrific, #58 is a winner! Time to start gearing up for beach season, hopefully you'll have just as much sun as there was rain. Be good mate. Take it easy.
Cheers from the overseas,
