The flooded fields at Pulborough in West Sussex, England. Here the River Arun has burst it banks and the late afternoon winter sun makes shadowy shapes of the trees trapped in the newly created silver lake.

Superbe paysage avec un très beau ciel nuageux et une belle lumière sur la rivière. Bon choix du format. Très réussi.
Belle journée à vous, amicalement,
Beautiful landscape with a beautiful cloudy sky and beautiful light on the river. Good choice of format. Very successful.
Good day to you, Regards,

A lovely panoramic view of the flooded river under the winter sun. Like the two part division of the sky into light and darkness. The silvery tone of the photo is creating a nice atmosphere. The silhouette of the barren trees are attractive as well. Well taken, thanks for sharing.

here is a nice panoramic view from you. Great to see those layers in it. Magical light on sky. Good depth and tonal quality. Another nice work. Tfs.

Apart from the obvious devastation of the flooded fields, I think it is the colour of the sky that captivates this shot. It is so unnaturally threatening! It looms over the landscape like some evil, poisonous pus.
The detail of the ducks just confirms how the land has turned to lake!
Have a great day,
We had some sun, yesterday!!!

Love this moody landscape post! Its golden tonality makes it unique and so charming! Very well seen and wonderfully composed. TFS!

A beautiful landscape composition with a superb atmosphere occasioned by that splendidly dramatic sky. Excellent choice of the panoramic format with the tree making a fine anchor point and frame. Exceptional light management.

I like the atmosphere you have created with the skeletal shapes of the trees sprouting up out of the flooded fields beneath that ominous sky.
It looks as if the geese and ducks are enjoying the new location.

You have a good eye for such beautiful things, great graphical photo with fantastic lighting and beautiful graphism of trees against the sky, very well done

Ciao e buona serata

You made a perfect shot there. It is very well composed and balanced colors are more natural. Pleasant thing the picture is very sharp and full of details.
The rating is interesting.

Ye joy of floods. Not words we hear often, but perhaps us photogs find benefits in stranger places than most. It sure has given you a beautiful scene here. As you say, the trees are shadows and from a mercury lake. To compliment st silver, the air seems to be filled with a shimmering gold which is equally beautiful. A very calm scene and I really admire this framing, it works so nicely.

how is the weather now in England? Is is still very rainy? Hope you guys are doing quite all right out there. The picture looks very peaceful but water can be really vicious from what I remember after the flood in my childhood.
As for the photo, the landscape gained a lot from this silver water which create illusion that the trees actually grow from it. Very nice and dramatic light matches the mood of the photo.
Well done and TFS!

Encore une jolie photo de ces champs inondés. Bon format panoramique et lumière particulière.
J'espère que la situation est redevenue normale maintenant!

This is beautiful. The sky is unimaginable.
The trees are a dream.

Well chosen panoramic format for this one reflecting the shape of the landscape with the river and distant hills. I like the "hidden" waterfowl in the foreground. :)
Have a nice weekend
